This is an alternative before OptiFine has been officially compatible with Forge.

This is how it works currently (no check for shield blocking): This mod can make OptiFine to be compatible with Forge. Of course, I can check if attacked entity is a player, has a shield, and is crouching, but, maybe, there is a better way to make shield protect from infection? It happens in LivingAttackEvent handler, and, problem is, zombies may infect players even if attack was blocked by shield.

Is this even supported in 1.8.Hi! In my mod, "Zombination", being attacked by zombie gives a slight chance to contract a zombie virus. As stated before, the texture works perfectly well but the model isn't showing up. "layer0": "mcpatcher/cit/melee/emerald_blade"īoth files and emerald_blade.png can be found in the mcpatcher/cit/melee folder. Here's my emerald_blade.properties file: type=item I tested it by scaling up the model by 2 in the 3rd person and nothing changed.
